So far, Stan has killed five rats. No wonder so many oranges were devoured! The last two were on the small side, so I think we are moving down to the younger generation, hopefully before they reproduce...
Stan caught one in a classic wood snapping trap, but the other four have all died in the trap you see below. It is a tube lined with metal plates and it has four big batteries.

Ooohh thats crazy!
When I went out to my shed last year to get my fall decorations out I found a live possum in one of my boxes when I opened it up. I haven't gone out to get my decorations yet this year...I'm almost afraid to.
I don't blame you - possums look like giant rats to me - ugh!
Nice, I can almost smell the pestilence vapors through the internets.
So that trap electrocutes them? I want one for squirrels who eat my pears.
